Former chairman of the China Symphony Union
Bian Zushan was the first graduate of the Department of Conducting at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the former first place conductor of the Central Ballet Troupe and Chairman of the China Union of Symphonic Orchestra.
Over the past 46 years, Bian Zushan has conducted and played in Chinese and foreign ballets such as Giselle, Swan Lake, Red Detachment of Women and Lin Daiyu. Recently, he has conducted orchestras in USA, Great Britain, Russia, Phillipines and Switzerland where he has garnered enthusiastic praise and rave reviews. At the age of 76, he is generally seen as a world-class conductor.
After cross-strait restrictions were lifted, Bian Zushan led the Central Ballet Troup in 10 performances of Swan Lake around Taiwan in 1992. This time, he is directing the Taipei Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Taiwan's outstanding pianist Jun-Jie Yan in a performance of Myaskovsky: Symphony No.27 at Taipei's National Concert Hall.

She began her piano studying at 4, entered the conservatory at the age of 12, after getting her Bacherlor Degree at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, she studied at the Brussels Royal Conservatory in the class of Daniel Blumenthal. In 2005 she was accepted as a full scolarships student at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music under the piano class of Abdel Rahman El Bacha, and chamber music class of Jean-Claude Venden EydenIn and gained the highest "Master after Master"Degree which given by the Belgium Queen Paola. Meanwhile she got Piano and Chamber music Artist Diploma in Antwerp Conservatory under the class of Levente Kende and Josef De Beenhouwer.
She participated several master classes given by the famous pianists, for example,
Lee Kum Sing, Chen Hung-Kuan ,Hans Leygraf, Charles Rosen, Karl-Heinz Kammerling, Aldo Ciccolini, Badura Skoda,Menahem Pressler,Vladimir Krainev ,Pascale ROGE and Dominique Merlet,etc.
She has given many recitals and chamber music concerts in Shenyang Grand Theater, Shanghai Conservatory, Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, Brussels Royal Conservatory, Brussels MIM, Brussels Flagey, Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, Holland Music Session, Holland ZA concerts, Nice Summer Festival, Festival de Menton in France, and Great Lake Music Festival in the US,etc.

Orchestra of Wallonie conducted by A.Dumay.She is invited to the masterclass and concert by Academy Villecroze in France and given Masterclasses and recitals frequently in Xinjiang Art Institute of China. Currently she wrote several essays and articles for the magazines, for example "Piano Artistry" and "Academic journal of Shenyang Conservatory". She has published her DVD "CUI Lan Piano Recital-Ravel piano works" in 2015.
She was the Laureat of the André Dumortier International Piano Competition in April
2003, Belgium YAMAHA Piano Competition in 2004,Musica Aeterna international Piano Competition in August,2007,and she got the 1st prize of Valmalète Internation Piano Competition in Paris.
